I like to do portraits during my free time cause it gives me a huge sense of achievement each time I complete a portrait. Drew this few months ago, one of my idols but oops, kinda made her look a little bit too old. Hehheh :P

The Book of Awesomeness
Actually this is just for relaxation. I got bored in class one day and folded a book, the mini type with a hard cover and several pages. So after folding it, I showed it to my friend and she told me to write a short story in it, and she chose the story, 3 Little Pigs. I thought it was quite a cute little book as I added in quite a few details like the Barcode behind, which made it look like a real mini book for sale in Borders.
Hitler's Portrait
This portrait of Hitler was done last year, in April 2011. It was done for a History class activity, which we have to pretend we are the supporters of Hitler, and we have to prepare a speech and design a poster to promote Hitler as well. So I decided to draw a Portrait of him. But I still thought there is a lot of areas for improvement for this portrait.
A Left-hander's Hand
This work was done last year, 2011, around March. It was for my Art Project, because I had to research on this Movement: Renaissance, and my Artist Reference was Leonardo Da Vinci, so I was trying to learn from him to express emotions in his artworks through the different poses of hands. And because I was trying to add Leonardo Da Vinci into the painting, who was a Left-Hander, I decided to hold a pencil in my hand and observe how the pencil is held and practice drawing it. I thought the thumb I drew here improved quite a lot compared to the previous thumb I drew.
My Second Attempt for Mona Lisa
This is my second attempt for the Mona Lisa. It is actually my art homework for secondary 2. Mona Lisa is like the whole time favorite artwork of mine, so I kept drawing different versions of her. So for the second time, I decided to do it in colour pencils. You noticed that a part of the printed reference picture is cut out and pasted onto the artwork I drew. It was a part of the homework, I had to choose a painting and paste in on a piece of paper and drew out the rest of the work. This was done probably around May 2010, if I was not wrong.

My First attempt for Mona Lisa
If you refer to many of my Artworks, you'll realized that I am actually very into the Renaissance Master, Leonardo Da Vinci. I admired him for many of his works, able to capture the life of certain things in nature without the help of modern technology. So when I was 11, I had my first attempt at his most famous artwork, the Mona Lisa. I had some help from my teachers there, so it turned out not bad for the first attempt.
为学之道
For visitors who don't know me personally, I write chinese calligraphy. I have learnt chinese calligraphy for around 6years already, and this piece of work was written early March 2011. It is a piece of work which I copied from this book that records 王羲之 calligraphy works, and this was one of his work which I was trying to copy his style. There is approximately 144words in here, took me about 3hrs to finish it (:
Rain's Portrait
For those of you who don't know who he is, well, he is Rain. A very famous celebrity from Korean. I did this at probably March last year. I couldn't quite get the gist of portrait drawing then, so the face still doesn't look like it.

African Apples
Like these juicy apples? I could say this is a very meaningful piece of work to me. I did this in around late November 2010 if I did not remember wrongly. I was auditioning for the O Level Art course in my school for Secondary 3, and the teacher placed these apples in front of me, and I have to draw them out within 3 hours using the medium which I'm confident in. So because of this work, I passed the audition and got into the course. (:
I still remember my teacher's remarks on this work, she said, "you managed to capture the process of the apple oxidizing while you are drawing." Well, the apples in there managed to capture the effort I put during the process of drawing this work as well...
Box and Lid (:
This was done also in early November 2010. It was my first try and I thought it turned out good. I was finding videos on Youtube teaching people how to fold unique boxes and I came across this video teaching people how to fold this box with a lid. This was designed by David Brill. I wanted to fold a box because my Aunt's birthday was coming up, and I thought instead of buying a box, I could just fold one, which makes it even more special (: One of the reason why I chose this box was because it resembles those ring cases we see in the Jewelery Shop, and I happen to be a big fan of rings (:
